1.Elzier treats his father like a sick person. His father is dying and needs care so Wiesel has to take care of him. Wiesel father try hard to survive. His father did not like the facts that his son was caring for him.
2. I think that his attitude toward his father was understandable. I think that he was mad because he was the one that had to care for his father but he was not in his right state of mind so that is why he kind of acted like that.
3.Elzier cried when the little boy in the story was hung. He knew that it was wrong and that they should not have done that. He did not cry when his father died becuase he did not know how to feel anymore he was not capable of crying.
4.He was very sick and he had food poising. I would tell him that he is a very strong person and im sorry for all his loss and that it was very sad and tragic what happened to him. I would want him to explain to me the living conditions and stuff like that.
